Question by Matty A: What resolution ought to i set my upconverting dvd player to?
I just bought a Philips DVP5990 upconverting dvd player, and i have a sharp 32" 720p hdtv. The player is hooked to the tv by means of hdmi. What resolution really should i set it to? The obvious answer seems to be 720p, but the 480p appears far better. Is it some thing i've carried out incorrect or what? I know its a bit of an awkward query but i could take any support i can get.
